1 El Señor dijo a Moisés y a Aarón: 2 «El siguiente estatuto forma parte de la ley que yo, el Señor, he promulgado: Los israelitas traerán una vaca de piel rojiza, sin defecto, y que nunca haya llevado yugo. 3 La entregarán al sacerdote Eleazar, quien ordenará que la saquen fuera del campamento y que en su presencia la degüellen. 4 Después el sacerdote Eleazar mojará el dedo en la sangre y rociará siete veces en dirección a la Tienda de reunión. 5 Hará también que la vaca sea incinerada en su presencia. Se quemará la piel, la carne y la sangre, junto con el excremento. 6 Luego el sacerdote tomará ramas de cedro y de hisopo, y un paño escarlata, y lo echará al fuego donde se incinere la vaca. 7 Finalmente, el sacerdote lavará sus vestidos y se bañará. Después de eso podrá volver al campamento, pero quedará impuro hasta el anochecer. 8 El que incinere la vaca lavará también sus vestidos y se bañará, y quedará impuro hasta el anochecer.

9 »Un hombre ritualmente puro recogerá las cenizas de la vaca y las llevará a un lugar puro fuera del campamento. Allí se depositarán las cenizas para que la comunidad israelita las use como sacrificio por el perdón, junto con el agua de purificación. 10 El que recoja las cenizas de la vaca lavará también sus vestidos y quedará impuro hasta el anochecer. Este será un estatuto perpetuo para los israelitas y para los extranjeros que vivan entre ellos.

11 »Quien toque el cadáver de alguna persona, quedará impuro durante siete días. 12 Para purificarse, los días tercero y séptimo usará el agua de la purificación y así quedará puro. Pero si no se purifica durante esos días, quedará impuro. 13 Quien toque el cadáver de alguna persona, y no se purifique, contamina el santuario del Señor. Tal persona será eliminada de Israel, pues habrá quedado impura por no haber sido rociada con las aguas de purificación.

14 »Esta es la ley que se aplicará cuando alguien muera en alguna de las tiendas: Todo el que entre en la tienda, y todo el que[a] se encuentre en ella, quedará impuro siete días. 15 Toda vasija que no haya estado bien tapada también quedará impura.

16 »Quien al pasar por un campo toque el cadáver de alguien que haya muerto en batalla o de muerte natural, o toque huesos humanos o un sepulcro, quedará impuro siete días.

17 »Para purificar a la persona que quedó impura, en una vasija se pondrá un poco de la ceniza del sacrificio por el perdón y se le echará agua fresca. 18 Después de eso, alguien ritualmente puro tomará una rama de hisopo, lo mojará en el agua, y rociará la tienda y todos sus utensilios, y a todos los que estén allí. También se rociará al que haya tocado los huesos humanos, el cadáver de alguien que haya sido asesinado o que haya muerto de muerte natural, o el sepulcro. 19 El hombre ritualmente puro rociará a la persona impura los días tercero y séptimo. Al séptimo día, purificará a la persona impura, la cual lavará sus vestidos y se bañará. Así quedará purificada al anochecer. 20 Pero si la persona impura no se purifica, será eliminada de la comunidad por haber contaminado el santuario del Señor. Tal persona habrá quedado impura por no haber sido rociada con las aguas de purificación. 21 Este es un estatuto perpetuo para Israel.

»El que rocía con las aguas de purificación también lavará sus vestidos, y quien toque el agua de purificación quedará impuro hasta el anochecer. 22 Todo lo que el impuro toque quedará impuro y quien lo toque a él también quedará impuro hasta el anochecer».

¡La vaca roja da más energía que la bebida Red Bull! La sangre se rociaba siete veces hacia la parte delantera del Tabernáculo. Luego el animal era quemado fuera del campamento. Las cenizas de una vaca roja sin ningún defecto se guardaban en un lugar limpio para luego mezclar un puñado con agua corriente y rociar sobre quien por alguna razón fuera declarado inmundo. Cinco terneras perfectamente rojas, necesarias para la purificación ritual de aquellos que han tocado un cadáver, llegaron a Israel desde un rancho en Texas … mientras el Instituto del Templo continúa los preparativos para sentar las bases para la construcción del Tercer Templo en Jerusalén reportó el Jerusalem Post hace un par de años. Las cenizas serían necesarias para la purificación del tercer templo, un evento con importante relevancia profética. Pero aún más importante que las predicciones del tiempo del fin, la ofrenda de esta vaca roja es simbólica del sacrificio de Cristo que también padeció fuera del campamento [Hebreos 13:11-12], como un cordero sin defecto y sin mancha [1 Pedro 1:19]. Por Su sacrificio en nuestro lugar recibimos el perdón y el perdón da más energía que Red Bull, “Feliz el hombre a quien sus culpas y pecados le han sido perdonados por completo. Feliz el hombre que no es mal intencionado y a quien el Señor no acusa de falta alguna.” [Salmo 32:1-2, Dios Habla Hoy]. Señor, así quiero creer, así quiero vivir!

Numbers 19: The Water of Cleansing.

1 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: 2 “This is a requirement of the law that the Lord has commanded: Tell the Israelites to bring you a red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke. 3 Give it to Eleazar the priest; it is to be taken outside the camp and slaughtered in his presence. 4 Then Eleazar the priest is to take some of its blood on his finger and sprinkle it seven times toward the front of the tent of meeting. 5 While he watches, the heifer is to be burned—its hide, flesh, blood and intestines. 6 The priest is to take some cedar wood, hyssop and scarlet wool and throw them onto the burning heifer. 7 After that, the priest must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water. He may then come into the camp, but he will be ceremonially unclean till evening. 8 The man who burns it must also wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he too will be unclean till evening.

9 “A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer and put them in a ceremonially clean place outside the camp. They are to be kept by the Israelite community for use in the water of cleansing; it is for purification from sin. 10 The man who gathers up the ashes of the heifer must also wash his clothes, and he too will be unclean till evening. This will be a lasting ordinance both for the Israelites and for the foreigners residing among them.

11 “Whoever touches a human corpse will be unclean for seven days. 12 They must purify themselves with the water on the third day and on the seventh day; then they will be clean. But if they do not purify themselves on the third and seventh days, they will not be clean. 13 If they fail to purify themselves after touching a human corpse, they defile the Lord’s tabernacle. They must be cut off from Israel. Because the water of cleansing has not been sprinkled on them, they are unclean; their uncleanness remains on them.

14 “This is the law that applies when a person dies in a tent: Anyone who enters the tent and anyone who is in it will be unclean for seven days, 15 and every open container without a lid fastened on it will be unclean.

16 “Anyone out in the open who touches someone who has been killed with a sword or someone who has died a natural death, or anyone who touches a human bone or a grave, will be unclean for seven days.

17 “For the unclean person, put some ashes from the burned purification offering into a jar and pour fresh water over them. 18 Then a man who is ceremonially clean is to take some hyssop, dip it in the water and sprinkle the tent and all the furnishings and the people who were there. He must also sprinkle anyone who has touched a human bone or a grave or anyone who has been killed or anyone who has died a natural death. 19 The man who is clean is to sprinkle those who are unclean on the third and seventh days, and on the seventh day he is to purify them. Those who are being cleansed must wash their clothes and bathe with water, and that evening they will be clean. 20 But if those who are unclean do not purify themselves, they must be cut off from the community, because they have defiled the sanctuary of the Lord. The water of cleansing has not been sprinkled on them, and they are unclean. 21 This is a lasting ordinance for them.

“The man who sprinkles the water of cleansing must also wash his clothes, and anyone who touches the water of cleansing will be unclean till evening. 22 Anything that an unclean person touches becomes unclean, and anyone who touches it becomes unclean till evening.”

The red cow gives more energy than the Red Bull drink! The blood was sprinkled seven times toward the front of the Tabernacle. The animal was then burned outside the camp. The ashes of a red heifer without any blemish were kept in a clean place and then mixed with running water and sprinkled on whoever for whatever reason was declared unclean. Five perfectly red calves, necessary for the ritual purification of those who have touched a carcass, arrived in Israel from a ranch in Texas… as the Temple Institute continues preparations to lay the groundwork for the construction of the Third Temple in Jerusalem, the Jerusalem Post reported a couple of years ago. The ashes would be necessary for the purification of the third temple, an event with important prophetic relevance. But even more important than the end-time predictions, the offering of this red heifer is symbolic of Christ’s sacrifice that He also suffered outside the camp [Hebrews 13:11-12], as a lamb without a spot and without blemish [1 Peter 1:19]. For His sacrifice in our place we receive forgiveness and forgiveness gives more energy than Red Bull, “What happiness for those whose guilt has been forgiven! What joys when sins are covered over!
