Levítico 9: Los sacrificios de Aarón.
1 Al octavo día Moisés llamó a Aarón, a sus hijos y a los jefes de Israel. 2 A Aarón le dijo: «Toma un ternero para el sacrificio de perdón de pecados y un carnero para el holocausto, ambos sin defecto, y preséntaselos al Señor. 3 Diles después a los israelitas: “Traigan un macho cabrío para el sacrificio por el perdón, un becerro y un cordero para el holocausto, ambos de un año y sin defecto. 4 Traigan también un toro y un carnero para ofrecérselos al Señor como sacrificio de comunión; y traigan una ofrenda de cereal amasada con aceite. El Señor se manifestará hoy ante ustedes”».
5 Los israelitas llevaron hasta la Tienda de reunión lo que Moisés había mandado; y toda la comunidad se acercó y se quedó de pie ante el Señor. 6 Entonces Moisés dijo: «Esto es lo que el Señor les manda hacer, para que la gloria del Señor se manifieste ante ustedes».
7 Después Moisés dijo a Aarón: «Acércate al altar y ofrece tu sacrificio por el perdón y tu holocausto. Pide así perdón por ti y por el pueblo. Presenta la ofrenda por el pueblo y pide perdón por ellos, tal como el Señor lo ha mandado».
8 Aarón se acercó al altar y degolló el becerro como sacrificio para el perdón por sí mismo. 9 Sus hijos le llevaron la sangre, él mojó el dedo en la sangre y la untó en los cuernos del altar; luego derramó sangre al pie del altar. 10 Luego quemó en el altar la grasa, los riñones y el lóbulo del hígado de la ofrenda por el pecado, tal como el Señor se lo había mandado a Moisés. 11 La carne y la piel las quemó fuera del campamento.
12 Después Aarón degolló la víctima del holocausto. Sus hijos le llevaron la sangre y él la derramó alrededor del altar. 13 También le fueron pasando los trozos del animal y la cabeza, y él lo quemó todo en el altar. 14 Lavó los intestinos y las patas, y luego quemó todo esto en el altar, junto con el holocausto.
15 Entonces Aarón presentó la ofrenda del pueblo, es decir, el macho cabrío del sacrificio por el perdón. Lo tomó y lo degolló, ofreciéndolo como sacrificio para obtener el perdón, como hizo con el primero.
16 Luego presentó la víctima del holocausto, la cual sacrificó tal como fue ordenado. 17 También presentó la ofrenda de cereal; luego tomó un puñado y lo quemó en el altar, además del holocausto de la mañana.
18 Después degolló el toro y el carnero como sacrificio de comunión por el pueblo. Sus hijos le llevaron la sangre y él la derramó alrededor del altar. 19 Pero tomó la grasa del toro y del carnero —la cola, el sebo que recubre los intestinos, los riñones y el lóbulo del hígado— 20 y puso todo sobre el pecho de las víctimas para quemarlo en el altar. 21 Aarón meció ante el Señor el pecho y el muslo derecho de las víctimas. Fue una ofrenda mecida, tal como Moisés se lo había mandado.
22 Aarón levantó las manos hacia el pueblo y los bendijo. Una vez que terminó de ofrecer el sacrificio por el perdón, el holocausto y el sacrificio de comunión, se retiró del altar.
23 Moisés y Aarón entraron en la Tienda de reunión. Al salir, bendijeron al pueblo y la gloria del Señor se manifestó a todo el pueblo. 24 De la presencia del Señor salió un fuego que consumió el holocausto y la grasa que estaban sobre el altar. Al ver esto, todo el pueblo prorrumpió en gritos de júbilo y cayó rostro en tierra.

“El Señor da a su pueblo perpetuo gozo cuando camina en obediencia a él.” [Dwight L. Moody]. “Entonces Moisés dijo: «Esto es lo que el Señor les manda hacer, para que la gloria del Señor se manifieste ante ustedes». [versículo 6, NVI]. Finalmente, Aaron y sus hijos debutan como sacerdotes. Han pasado siete días en el tabernáculo y en el octavo aparecieron públicamente. Ofrecen distintas clases de ofrendas con tres resultados: Alzó Aaron sus manos hacia el pueblo y lo bendijo [22], Dios manifestó Su gloria ante todo el pueblo [verso 23] y el fuego de Dios consumió el holocausto [24] y el efecto se ve en todo el pueblo “Al ver esto, todos los israelitas lanzaron gritos de alegría y se inclinaron hasta tocar el suelo con la frente” [Versión Dios Habla Hoy]. Hay una promesa encerrada en el verso 6: Dios se manifestará con Su esplendor. Esa promesa tenía una condición: Ellos debían obedecer a la Palabra de Dios. Ellos cumplieron lo ordenado por Dios y como resultado la Gloria de Jehová se les apareció. Leviticus 9:The Priests Begin Their Ministry.
1 On the eighth day Moses summoned Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel. 2 He said to Aaron, “Take a bull calf for your sin offering[a] and a ram for your burnt offering, both without defect, and present them before the Lord. 3 Then say to the Israelites: ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering, a calf and a lamb—both a year old and without defect—for a burnt offering, 4 and an ox[b] and a ram for a fellowship offering to sacrifice before the Lord, together with a grain offering mixed with olive oil. For today the Lord will appear to you.’”
5 They took the things Moses commanded to the front of the tent of meeting, and the entire assembly came near and stood before the Lord. 6 Then Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded you to do, so that the glory of the Lord may appear to you.”
7 Moses said to Aaron, “Come to the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering and make atonement for yourself and the people; sacrifice the offering that is for the people and make atonement for them, as the Lord has commanded.”
8 So Aaron came to the altar and slaughtered the calf as a sin offering for himself. 9 His sons brought the blood to him, and he dipped his finger into the blood and put it on the horns of the altar; the rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar. 10 On the altar he burned the fat, the kidneys and the long lobe of the liver from the sin offering, as the Lord commanded Moses; 11 the flesh and the hide he burned up outside the camp.
12 Then he slaughtered the burnt offering. His sons handed him the blood, and he splashed it against the sides of the altar. 13 They handed him the burnt offering piece by piece, including the head, and he burned them on the altar. 14 He washed the internal organs and the legs and burned them on top of the burnt offering on the altar.
15 Aaron then brought the offering that was for the people. He took the goat for the people’s sin offering and slaughtered it and offered it for a sin offering as he did with the first one.
16 He brought the burnt offering and offered it in the prescribed way. 17 He also brought the grain offering, took a handful of it and burned it on the altar in addition to the morning’s burnt offering.
18 He slaughtered the ox and the ram as the fellowship offering for the people. His sons handed him the blood, and he splashed it against the sides of the altar. 19 But the fat portions of the ox and the ram—the fat tail, the layer of fat, the kidneys and the long lobe of the liver— 20 these they laid on the breasts, and then Aaron burned the fat on the altar. 21 Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh before the Lord as a wave offering, as Moses commanded.
22 Then Aaron lifted his hands toward the people and blessed them. And having sacrificed the sin offering, the burnt offering and the fellowship offering, he stepped down.
23 Moses and Aaron then went into the tent of meeting. When they came out, they blessed the people; and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people. 24 Fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted for joy and fell facedown.

“The Lord gives his people perpetual joy when they walk in obedience to him.” [Dwight L. Moody]. “Then Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded you to do, so that the glory of the Lord may appear to you.” [verse 6, NIV]. Finally, Aaron and his children debut as priests. They had spent seven days inside the tabernacle and then, on the eighth day, they made their public appearance. They offered different kinds of offerings with three results: Aaron lifted his hands over the people and blessed them [22], God manifested His glory to all the people [verse 23] and the fire of God consumed the holocaust [24] and the effect could be seen in all of the people.” And when all the people saw it, they shouted for joy and fell facedown.” [NIV]. There is an implicit promise in verse 6: God will manifest Himself with His splendor. That promise had one condition: They were to obey the Word of God. They obeyed God’s voice and as a result, the Glory of Jehovah appeared to them. It is as if God through Moses gave us a flow chart: God speaks [step 1], we obey [step 2], God manifests himself by showing us His glory [step 3] and we experience boundless joy [step 4]. Would you like to experience the last step? The joy of the Lord [step 4]? Begin by listening to the voice of God [He speaks to us by His Word], and follow the other steps, it will be a wonderful day!
