Salmos 143: Súplica de liberación y dirección.
1 Salmo de David. OH Jehová, oye mi oración, escucha mis ruegos: Respóndeme por tu verdad, por tu justicia.
2 Y no entres en juicio con tu siervo; Porque no se justificará delante de ti ningún viviente.
3 Porque ha perseguido el enemigo mi alma; Ha postrado en tierra mi vida; Hame hecho habitar en tinieblas como los ya muertos.
4 Y mi espíritu se angustió dentro de mí; Pasmóse mi corazón.
5 Acordéme de los días antiguos; Meditaba en todas tus obras, Reflexionaba en las obras de tus manos.
6 Extendí mis manos á ti; Mi alma á ti como la tierra sedienta. (Selah.)
7 Respóndeme presto, oh Jehová que desmaya mi espíritu: No escondas de mí tu rostro, Y venga yo á ser semejante á los que descienden á la sepultura.
8 Hazme oir por la mañana tu misericordia, Porque en ti he confiado: Hazme saber el camino por donde ande, Porque á ti he alzado mi alma
9 Líbrame de mis enemigos, oh Jehová: A ti me acojo.
10 Enséñame á hacer tu voluntad, porque tú eres mi Dios: Tu buen espíritu me guíe á tierra de rectitud.
11 Por tu nombre, oh Jehová me vivificarás: Por tu justicia, sacarás mi alma de angustia.
12 Y por tu misericordia disiparás mis enemigos, Y destruirás todos los adversarios de mi alma: Porque yo soy tu siervo.

“Por la mañana hazme saber de tu gran amor, porque en ti he puesto mi confianza. Señálame el camino que debo seguir, porque a ti elevo mi alma.” [versículo 8, Biblia de las Américas] “Enséñame a hacer tu voluntad, porque tú eres mi Dios. Que tu buen Espíritu me guíe por el buen camino.!” [versículo 10, Palabra de Dios para Todos]. Algunos de nosotros todavía recuerdan cuando tratábamos de encontrar una dirección usando un mapa. Nos deteníamos en una gasolinera para pedir un mapa gratuito y al abrirlo tratábamos primero de ponerlo en la dirección correcta para “ubicarnos” y así intentábamos llegar al destino deseado. Cuando llegó el Sistema de Posicionamiento Global (mejor conocido como “GPS”, la abreviación en Ingles) todo cambió. Sin embargo, este maravilloso desarrollo de la tecnología moderna no es infalible, hay veces que nos lleva por una ruta más larga o, simplemente, nos dice “usted ha llegado a su destino”, solo para darnos cuenta que no es el lugar que buscábamos. Otras veces, creemos saber más que este aparato y obstinadamente intentamos por nuestros propios medios llegar al destino sin finalmente, después de varias vueltas, lograrlo. Ambas situaciones, cuando el GPS se equivoca o cuando nosotros no seguimos sus instrucciones, causan una profunda frustración. Este texto nos revela una manera mejor de dirigir nuestras vidas. “Que Tu buen Espíritu me guíe por el buen camino.” El GPS se puede equivocar, pero el Espíritu Santo nunca se equivoca. [Juan 16:13]. Para que el GPS te guíe, hay que conectarlo e ingresar la dirección a donde quieres llegar. El Espíritu Santo no solo te revela el camino sino también el destino; Él sabe dónde llevarte. Cuando lo obedeces te da paz interior. Al empezar este día quiero conectarme con Él.
Psalms 143: An Earnest Appeal for Guidance and Deliverance.
1 Hear my prayer, O Lord, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
3 For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
4 Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
7 Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
9 Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
11 Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.

“Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For I trust in You. Teach me the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.” [verse 8, Amplified Bible] “You are my God. Show me what you want me to do, and let your gentle Spirit lead me in the right path. ! ” [verse 10, Contemporary English Version]. Some of us still remember the times when we tried to find an address using a map. We stopped at a gas station to ask for a free map and when we opened it we first tried to put it in the right direction to “locate” ourselves and thus attempt to reach the desired destination. When the Global Positioning System (better known as “GPS”) became available, everything changed. However, this wonderful development of modern technology is not foolproof; there are times when it takes us on a longer route or simply tells us “you have reached your destination”, only to realize that it is not the place we were looking for. At other times, we think we know more than this device and obstinately try by our own means to reach the destination without finally, after several turns, succeeding. Both situations, when the GPS is wrong or when we do not follow its instructions, cause us deep frustration. This text reveals to us a better way to direct our lives. ” let your gentle Spirit lead me in the right path.” The GPS can be wrong, but the Holy Spirit is never wrong. For the GPS to guide you, you have to connect it and enter the address where you want to go. The Holy Spirit not only reveals to you the way but also the destination; He knows where to take you. When you obey His Spirit gives you genuine inner peace. As I begin this day I want to connect with Him.
