Gálatas 6: La ayuda mutua.

6 Hermanos, si alguien es sorprendido en pecado, ustedes que son espirituales deben restaurarlo con una actitud humilde. Pero cuídese cada uno, porque también puede ser tentado. 2 Ayúdense unos a otros a llevar sus cargas y así cumplirán la ley de Cristo. 3 Si alguien cree ser algo, cuando en realidad no es nada, se engaña a sí mismo. 4 Cada cual examine su propia conducta; y si tiene algo de qué presumir, que no se compare con nadie. 5 Que cada uno cargue con su propia responsabilidad.

6 El que recibe instrucción en la palabra de Dios comparta todo lo bueno con quien le enseña.

7 No se engañen: de Dios nadie se burla. Cada uno cosecha lo que siembra. 8 El que siembra para agradar a su carne, de esa misma carne cosechará destrucción; el que siembra para agradar al Espíritu, del Espíritu cosechará vida eterna. 9 No nos cansemos de hacer el bien, porque a su debido tiempo cosecharemos si no nos damos por vencidos. 10 Por lo tanto, siempre que tengamos la oportunidad, hagamos bien a todos y en especial a los de la familia de la fe.

No la circuncisión, sino una nueva creación
11 Miren que les escribo de mi puño y letra, ¡y con letras bien grandes!

12 Los que tratan de obligarlos a ustedes a circuncidarse lo hacen únicamente para dar una buena impresión y evitar ser perseguidos por causa de la cruz de Cristo. 13 Ni siquiera esos que están circuncidados obedecen la Ley; lo que pasa es que quieren obligarlos a ustedes a circuncidarse para luego jactarse de la señal que ustedes llevarían en el cuerpo. 14 En cuanto a mí, jamás se me ocurra jactarme de otra cosa sino de la cruz de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, por quien[a] el mundo ha sido crucificado para mí, y yo para el mundo. 15 Para nada cuenta estar o no estar circuncidados; lo que importa es ser parte de una nueva creación. 16 Paz y misericordia desciendan sobre todos los que siguen esta norma y sobre el Israel de Dios.

17 Por lo demás, que nadie me cause más problemas, porque yo llevo en el cuerpo las cicatrices de Jesús.

18 Hermanos, que la gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con el espíritu de cada uno de ustedes. Amén.

Lo que cada uno haya sembrado, eso cosechará.” [Versículo 7, Versión La Palabra]. La misma naturaleza nos enseña este principio. Si sembramos odio no esperemos cosechar amor. No solo cosechamos lo que sembramos, cosechamos más de lo que sembramos. Hay un efecto multiplicador en la siembra; siembra vientos y recogerás torbellino [Oseas 8:7]. Muchas veces nos frustra y nos sobrecoge la ansiedad porque no vemos los resultados. Implícita en la ilustración está la paciencia, el fruto no se recoge inmediatamente. “No nos cansemos de hacer el bien ya que, si no desfallecemos, a su tiempo recogeremos la cosecha” [versículo 9, Versión La Palabra]. Te repito: no te canses de hacer el bien. Sal a sembrar, sembrador de paz, sigue las huellas del buen Jesús, muy ricos frutos tendrás, si fiel sigues la senda de paz y luz. Vasto es el campo, sal a sembrar, siembra el terreno doquiera vas. Si siembras siempre confiando en Dios Él tus fuerzas coronará.” [autor desconocido]. Señor, ayúdame a sembrar las potentes semillas del amor desinteresado, de consuelo divino, y ánimo fortalecedor en algún corazón herido que hoy pongas en mi camino.

Galatians 6: Doing Good to All.

1 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3 If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. 4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5 for each one should carry their own load. 6 Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Not Circumcision but the New Creation
11 See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!

12 Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh. 14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which[a] the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation. 16 Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to[b] the Israel of God.

17 From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.

18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.

“Sow a thought and you will reap an act; Sow an act, and you will reap a habit; Sow a habit and you will reap a personality; Sow a personality and you will reap a destiny.” [unknown author]. “Make no mistake: God can’t be mocked. What you give is what you get. What you sow, you harvest.” [Verse 7, The Voice]. Nature itself teaches us this principle. If we sow hatred do should not expect to reap love. We don’t just reap what we sow, we reap more than what we sow. There is a multiplier effect on planting; sow winds and you will reap whirlwind [Hosea 8:7]. We are often frustrated and overwhelmed by anxiety because we do not see immediate results. Implicit in the illustration is patience, the fruit is not immediately harvested. “… let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” [verse 9, BRG Bible]. Do not lose heart. “Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept trying when there seemed to be no hope.” [Dale Carnegie].
