Isaías 32: El Rey justo.
1 HE aquí que en justicia reinará un rey, y príncipes presidirán en juicio.
2 Y será aquel varón como escondedero contra el viento, y como acogida contra el turbión; como arroyos de aguas en tierra de sequedad, como sombra de gran peñasco en tierra calurosa.
3 No se ofuscarán entonces los ojos de los que ven, y los oídos de los oyentes oirán atentos.
4 Y el corazón de los necios entenderá para saber, y la lengua de los tartamudos será desenvuelta para hablar claramente.
5 El mezquino nunca más será llamado liberal, ni será dicho generoso el avariento.
6 Porque el mezquino hablará mezquindades, y su corazón fabricará iniquidad, para hacer la impiedad y para hablar escarnio contra Jehová, dejando vacía el alma hambrienta, y quitando la bebida al sediento.
7 Cierto los avaros malas medidas tienen: él maquina pensamientos para enredar á los simples con palabras cautelosas, y para hablar en juicio contra el pobre.
8 Mas el liberal pensará liberalidades, y por liberalidades subirá.
9 Mujeres reposadas, levantaos, oid mi voz; confiadas, escuchad mi razón.
10 Días y años tendréis espanto, oh confiadas; porque la vendimia faltará, y la cosecha no acudirá.
11 Temblad, oh reposadas; turbaos, oh confiadas: despojaos, desnudaos, ceñid los lomos con saco.
12 Sobre los pechos lamentarán por los campos deleitosos, por la vid fértil.
13 Sobre la tierra de mi pueblo subirán espinas y cardos; y aun sobre todas las casas de placer en la ciudad de alegría.
14 Porque los palacios serán desiertos, la multitud de la ciudad cesará: las torres y fortalezas se tornarán cuevas para siempre, donde huelguen asnos monteses, y ganados hagan majada:
15 Hasta que sobre nosotros sea derramado espíritu de lo alto, y el desierto se torne en campo labrado, y el campo labrado sea estimado por bosque.
16 Y habitará el juicio en el desierto, y en el campo labrado asentará la justicia.
17 Y el efecto de la justicia será paz; y la labor de justicia, reposo y seguridad para siempre.
18 Y mi pueblo habitará en morada de paz, y en habitaciones seguras, y en recreos de reposo.
19 Y el granizo, cuando descendiere será en los montes; y la ciudad será del todo abatida.
20 Dichosos vosotros los que sembráis sobre todas aguas, y metéis en ellas el pie de buey y de asno.

“La paz y la justicia son dos caras de la misma moneda.” [Dwight D. Eisenhower]. “He aquí que para justicia reinará un rey … [Versículo 1, Versión Reina Varela 1960]. Este capítulo nos lleva otra vez al reino Milenial cuyo personaje principal es Cristo Jesús, Rey de Reyes y Señor de Señores. Dos características de Su reinado resaltan en este capítulo. La paz y la justicia. El pueblo cubano y el resto de la humanidad reclaman estos pilares del Reino Milenial. “La paz es más importante que toda justicia; y la paz no se hizo por el bien de la justicia, sino la justicia por el bien de la paz.” [Martín Lutero]. “Y el efecto de la justicia será paz; y la labor de la justicia, reposo y seguridad para siempre.” [Versículo 17, Versión Reina Varela 1960]. El versículo dos describe cuatro aspectos de la paz que el ser humano tanto necesita: protección contra los vientos de la presión social que el mundo o nuestras amistades ejercen sobre nosotros queriéndonos llevar en dirección opuesta a las verdades Bíblicas, refugio en las tormentas cuando estamos atravesando largas y dolorosas pruebas, manantiales de agua serena para satisfacer el alma de quien no la ha encontrado, ni en las religiones, ni en el placer, ni tampoco en el ocultismo o la seudo espiritualidad. Sombra en el abrasador calor del agotamiento mental y del cansancio físico. Paradójicamente para Él, para Jesús, no hubo justicia, es más, el Justo sufrió por nosotros los injustos. [1 Pedro 3:18]. En la cruz, “La misericordia y la verdad se encontraron; La justicia y la paz se besaron.” [Salmos 85:10, Versión Reina Varela 1960]. “Un mensaje del Señor, ¡aleluya! anuncio yo que da la paz. Es de Dios el santo amor, ¡aleluya! «Ve tan sólo a Cristo y vivirás». [William A. Ogden].
Isaiah 32: Consequences of Complacency.
1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.
6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the Lord, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.
9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.
10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.
11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.
12 They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:
14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.
17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.
20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.

“Peace and justice are two sides of the same coin.” [Dwight D. Eisenhower. “Look, a righteous King is coming … [Verse 1, Living Bible Version]. This chapter takes us again to the Millennial kingdom whose main character is Christ Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Two features of His reign stand out in this chapter. Peace and justice. The Cuban people and the rest of the world cry-out for these pillars of the Millennial Kingdom. “Peace is more important than all justice; and peace was not made for the sake of justice, but justice for the sake of peace.” [Martin Luther]. “The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.” [Verse 17, New International Version]. Verse two describes four aspects of the peace that mankind so desperately needs: protection from the winds of social pressure that the culture or even our friends exert over us wanting to carry us in the opposite direction to biblical truths, refuge in storms when we are going through long and painful trials, springs of serene water to satisfy the soul of those who have not found it, neither in religions, nor in pleasure, nor in the occult or pseudo spirituality. Shade in the scorching heat of mental and physical exhaustion. Paradoxically for Him, that is for Jesus, there was no justice, moreover, the Righteous suffered for us unrighteous. [1 Peter 3:18]. On the cross, “Mercy and truth shall meet, righteousness and peace shall kiss one another. ” [Psalm 85:10, 1599 Geneva Bible Version]. ” I’ve a message from the Lord, Hallelujah! The message unto you I’ll give. ’Tis recorded in His Word, Hallelujah! It is only that you “look and live.”.” [William A. Ogden].
