Miqueas 2: ¡Ay de los que oprimen a los pobres!.
1 AY de los que piensan iniquidad, y de los que fabrican el mal en sus camas! Cuando viene la mañana lo ponen en obra, porque tienen en su mano el poder.
2 Y codiciaron las heredades, y robáronlas: y casas, y las tomaron: oprimieron al hombre y á su casa, al hombre y á su heredad.
3 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí, yo pienso sobre esta familia un mal, del cual no sacaréis vuestros cuellos, ni andaréis erguidos; porque el tiempo será malo.
4 En aquel tiempo se levantará sobre vosotros refrán, y se endechará endecha de lametación, diciendo: Del todo fuimos destruídos; ha cambiado la parte de mi pueblo. Cómo nos quitó nuestros campos! dió, repartiólos á otros.
5 Por tanto, no tendrás quien eche cordel para suerte en la congregación de Jehová.
6 No profeticéis, dicen á los que profetizan; no les profeticen que los ha de comprender vergüenza.
7 La que te dices casa de Jacob, ¿hase acortado el espíritu de Jehová? ¿son éstas sus obras? ¿Mis palabras no hacen bien al que camina derechamente?
8 El que ayer era mi pueblo, se ha levantado como enemigo: tras las vestiduras quitasteis las capas atrevidamente á los que pasaban, como los que vuelven de la guerra.
9 A las mujeres de mi pueblo echasteis fuera de las casas de sus delicias: á sus niños quitasteis mi perpetua alabanza.
10 Levantaos, y andad, que no es ésta la holganza; porque está contaminada, corrompióse, y de grande corrupción.
11 Si hubiere alguno que ande con el viento, y finja mentiras diciendo: Yo te profetizaré de vino y de sidra; este tal será profeta á este pueblo.
12 De cierto te reuniré todo, oh Jacob: recogeré ciertamente el resto de Israel: pondrélo junto como ovejas de Bosra, como rebaño en mitad de su majada: harán estruendo por la multitud de los hombres.
13 Subirá rompedor delante de ellos; romperán y pasarán la puerta, y saldrán por ella: y su rey pasará delante de ellos, y á la cabeza de ellos Jehová.

Cuanto mayor es el poder, más peligroso es el abuso.” [Edmund Burke]. “El problema no es el abuso de poder; Es el poder de abusar.” [Mike Cloud]. “¡Ay de los que solo piensan en el mal, y aun acostados hacen planes malvados! En cuanto amanece, los llevan a cabo porque tienen el poder en sus manos. Codician campos, y se apropian de ellos; casas, y de ellas se adueñan. Oprimen al varón y a su familia, al hombre y a su propiedad.” [versículos 1 y 2, Nueva Versión Internacional].¿Les suenan familiares estas palabras? Mucho de esto está ocurriendo alrededor del mundo. Pasa en las naciones y, lamentablemente, también en algunas escuelas, iglesias y hogares. Pero no todo está perdido; el final del capítulo trae esperanza: “Subirá el que abre caminos delante de ellos; abrirán camino y pasarán la puerta, y saldrán por ella; y su rey pasará delante de ellos, y a la cabeza de ellos Jehová.” [versículo 13, Reina Varela 1960]. Dios abre camino donde no hay camino. Él no solo abre camino, Él es el Camino y también la Puerta: “Yo soy la puerta; si alguno entra por mí, será salvo; y entrará y saldrá y hallará pasto. El ladrón solo viene para robar y matar y destruir; yo he venido para que tengan vida, y para que la tengan en abundancia.” [Juan 10:9-10, Reina Varela 1960]. ¡Anímate! Toca a la puerta se abrirá un día de eterna bendición.
Micah 2: Woe to Evildoers.
1 Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
2 And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
3 Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
4 In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.
5 Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the Lord.
6 Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.
7 O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the Lord straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
8 Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.
9 The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever.
10 Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
12 I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
13 The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the Lord on the head of them.

“The greater the power, the more dangerous the abuse. ” [Edmund Burke]. ” The problem is not the abuse of power; It is the power to abuse. ” [Mike Cloud]. Doom to those who plot evil, who go to bed dreaming up crimes! As soon as it’s morning, they’re off, full of energy, doing what they’ve planned.They covet fields and grab them, find homes and take them.They bully the neighbor and his family, see people only for what they can get out of them.. ” [verses 1 and 2, The Message]. Do these words sound familiar? A lot of this is happening around the world. It happens in the nations and, unfortunately, also in some schools, in churches, and in homes. But all is not lost; the end of the chapter brings hope: “The “One Who Breaks Through Walls” will push through and walk to the front of his people. They will break through the gates and leave that city. They will leave with their king marching before them— with the Lord at the front of his people. ” [verse 13, Easy-to-Read Version]. God opens the way where there is no way. He notonly opens the way, He is the Way and also the Door: ” I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security). 10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. ” [John 10:9-10, Amplified Bible]. Cheer up! Knock on the door will open a day of eternal blessing.
